PT Medco Ratch Power Riau is a leading energy company in Indonesia, dedicated to delivering reliable and efficient power generation to support the nation's growing electricity demand. Established on 10 September 2010, the company has built a strong reputation for operational excellence, innovation, and long-term sustainability in the power sector.
Our flagship facility is a 275 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant, utilizing two GE Power 6F.03 gas turbines in a 2x1 configuration. Each gas turbine has a nameplate capacity of approximately 81 MW. The plant is supported by Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) and a steam turbine system, enabling highly efficient combined-cycle operation and stable electricity output.
The plant began commercial operations in February 2017 and supplies electricity to PT PLN (Persero) under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) of 20 years. Strategically located to support both industrial and community energy needs, the facility plays an important role in strengthening Indonesia's power infrastructure and supporting national economic development.
