SAFE OPERATIONS

PT Medco Ratch Power Riau (MRPR), operates the 275–296 MW Riau Gas-Fired Combined-Cycle Power Plant in Tenayan Raya, Pekanbaru, Indonesia, since February 2022. Developed with RATCH Group, the project supports electricity reliability across Sumatra and helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with PT PLN.
PT Medco Ratch Power Riau is committed to safe, reliable operations while protecting the environment and all stakeholders. This commitment is supported through continuous HSE programs aligned with OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 standards.

HEALTH WORKING ENVIRONMENT

PT Medco Ratch Power Riau believes that a healthy working environment can improve operational efficiency and productivity. Our commitment to these efforts can be seen from the policy signed by Management and implemented in corporate assets and subsidiary. Medco Power Indonesia committed to support health of workers as important aspect to increase the company productivity and sustainability.
PT Medco Ratch Power Riau Indonesia applied high standard of health and safety procedures to achieve a healthy and safety working condition and environment. As part of health prevention we provided regular medical check-up for all workers. Each of our operational and construction assets is well equipped with trained personnel on first aid services.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

PT Medco Ratch Power Riau endeavours to undertake its businesses in a safe manner to respect and care for the environment and to preserve the physical resources of the as well as environmental preservation, pollution prevention and hazardous material awareness on the surrounding areas where the Company operates.
PT Medco Ratch Power Riau always makes sure that it conducts its operations by adhering to national and international best practices in environmental protection and conservation. A number of regulations include the Analysis on Environmental Impact (AMDAL) as well as compliance with all related National and Local government legislation, statutory requirements and other regulations.

CLEAN ENERGY DEVELOPMENT

Since its establishment, Medco Power has been focused on the sustainable energy concept. This concept refers to provision of energy resources, both conventional (natural gas) and renewable energy, which are managed efficiently, cleanly, and effectively, so as to meet the energy needs in the present as well as in the future.
Renewable energy technologies is the future energy to ensure the national development will not affected the environment. The company is committed to build more clean and green energy power plant as part of core business of the company.

As committed in PT Medco Ratch Power Riau business sustainability goals on governance, Medco Power continuously establishes anti-corruption programs with primary objective to avoid corporate corruption liability.
Our Anti-Corruption (ABC) programs is implemented pursuant to the Law No. 31 of 2019 on Corruption Law, Supreme Court Rules No 13 of 2016 on Corporate Crime Liability and ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System

GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

PT Medco Ratch Power Riau Indonesia is committed to implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) of the highest standards. The implementation of the GCG principles, namely Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence, and Fairness, is instrumental in realizing the Company’s vision and therefore embedded in its corporate values and culture.
Our GCG is the guidance on how an organization should be governed, which must be followed by Company’s Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors.

CODE OF CONDUCT

PT Medco Ratch Power Riau Code of Conduct is the main principle which governs how the RiauEnergi Board of Commission, Board of Directors and employees in conducting their work duties, carrying out their responsibilities and behave in accordance to ethical practice.
To support the best interest of MedcoEnergi, Our Code shall be communicated to, implemented and followed by all stakeholders, including Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors employees, affiliates, business partners and guests of the Company, without any exception and regardless of their geographical location.

WHISTLEBLOWER

“The implementation of GCG includes eradicating corruption, bribery, other fraudulent practices, an effective method is needed to prevent and combat practices that are contrary to GCG through the Whistleblowing System (WBS). Medco Power has zero tolerance for fraud carried out by management, employees and business partners in accordance with the ABC Policy Pledge.
Submission of reports from both external and internal parties who report fraud activities or violations of regulations and various irregular practices can be conveyed to a number of communication.
